By placing a crown, we can strengthen the tooth and restore function. A crown also protects the tooth from future damage and decay. We utilize CEREC technology, which allows us to create and place dental crowns in a single visit. Our crowns are crafted from strong porcelain that can blend with your smile.
Drs. Garner and Thorson work closely with a local oral surgeon to place dental implants. We can then restore your dental implants with a custom crown, bridge, or denture. In some cases, we can design a same-day CEREC® dental crown, and we can also coordinate All-on-4® treatment when necessary.
We offer both traditional and implant-supported bridges. A traditional bridge is attached to the surrounding natural teeth either with two crowns or with metal clasps. We take great care to ensure that every bridge we place provides a comfortable fit and a natural-looking appearance.
Inlays and Onlays
Inlays and onlays are crafted with our CEREC system to restore your tooth in a single visit. These restorations are used when a crown would be excessive but a filling would be insufficient. Inlays repair the chewing surfaces of your molars, while onlays repair the cusps and chewing surfaces.
To repair a tooth after treatment for decay, we use tooth-colored resin fillings. This material blends with the tooth, making the filling virtually undetectable to the naked eye. Composite resin looks natural, bonds more securely to your tooth, and is completely free of toxins.
